Air Fryer Wings w/ Dill Ranch Dipping Sauce

Avoid the oily mess without sacrificing a delicious chicken wing. Pop these in the air fryer and forget the pub with these wings.

Prep Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 40 – 60 mins Total Time: 65-85 minutes Servings: 24 wings

Dredge:

  • 1/2 cup AP Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dill weed

Wings:

  • 2 Pounds of chicken wings/drumsticks
  • 2 tsp Table Salt

Sides:

  • 3 Large Carrots (Sliced into 2 inch long strips, about 1/4 inch wide)
  • 3 large Celery Stalks(Sliced into 2 inch long strips, about 1/4 inch wide)

Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 package of Ranch mix
  • 1 Dill Pickle (Minced)
  • 1 Tbsp of Dill Pickle juice

Instructions:

Dredge:

  1. Combine all dry Ingredients in a shallow dish (For easy dredging)

Wings:

  1. Dab off all remaining moisture on chicken wings with Paper Towels
  2. Season all wings thoroughly with salt and let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. (Can be done in advance overnight for crispier, better seasoned wings. **Recommended**)
  3. Dab moisture off wings again with paper towel
  4. Dredge a few wings at a time in your flour mixture and shake off any loose mixture.
  5. Set about 10 wings in your air fryer and set at the highest temp for 20 minutes. You should check the wings half way through and shake them around so all sides can crisp up.
  6. Your wings will likely stick together and cook unevenly, so shaking them around is crucial. The less overcrowding in the air fryer is best, but you can pack as many as you can in it while trying to keep spaces.
  7. If your wings are not as crispy as desired, you can keep them in your air fryer for up to an extra 10 minutes without the risk of drying out

Dipping:

  1. Add Mayo, seasoning package, pickles, and pickle juice in a small bowl and combine well.
  2. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • These wings get crowded easily in our air fryer but you can add more if you have a larger fryer.
  • Strategically placing your wings in your fryer so they have as much airflow as possible for the first 10 minutes can help crisp things up even better
  • Shake your wings around and separate any wings that are stuck together to cook the most evenly.
  • I couldn’t find our air fryer on amazon but check out this Ninja fryer that is a STEAL right now!
